Angel Falls: How I Believe it Will Change

Angel Falls, located in Venezuela, is the world’s highest waterfall. With a height of about 3, 212 feet, it drops over the Auyantepui mountain and has about a 2,648 foot plunge. This water fall was formed when rain gathered at the top of Auyantepui, and made a path over the edge. This waterfall is not fed by any stream or river, but merely by the rain and runoff water.
Over the next million or so years, I believe this waterfall will “cut” deeper into the Auyantepui mountain, and will cause more water to flow from the top of the mountain to the lake below. Also, since the the runoff water is continually flowing, it will weather away at the mountain, and Angel Falls will become shorter in height as the years progress.  More of the mountain will wear away from the mist of the water, and could possibly turn into a cave or a cavity.
