God’s Gift To Me

What would you do if one day you woke up, and all you saw was darkness? What would you do if you were blind? To me, being blind is the sense I would never want to lose. Not being able to wake up and see the beautiful gifts God has given me and put on this Earth for every one to see His glory and His power! I could not stand not seeing my mom’s face every morning telling me to get up. I could not stand not seeing the Sun set and rise every morning, the best gift, to me, God put on the Earth to show He was happy the day he made sunsets and sunrise. Not seeing my dad yelling at me to get in the car. Even though I hate him doing that, it would be torture not seeing him doing that, it’s be like milk without Oreo’s.

God has truly blessed me with being able to see everything He made. I treasure this because without it, how would I be able to see all these things? I would have to use a Braille to write, I would have to have a walking stick. I would probably have to have a seeing dog to help me cross the street and others things requiring my eyes. I would not be able to play sports, I couldn’t make it without touching, shooting, throwing, or kicking a ball. I would probably not make it through 1 week without seeing my family and my friends. They are my whole life. I cannot imagine not being able to see their faces.

We take sight for granted. All the bad things we now see. God never intended on His beautiful creations wasting their sight like we do now. All the bad movies, tv shows, music videos, etc, what are we doing? We have to use our sight to our advantage, not to make people think we’re cool ‘cause we can put things and do things on the Internet. We need to start thinking what life would be like if we were born blind or suddenly became blind. From now on, I’m going to stop taking advantage of my sight, and use it like God intended me to and every one else too.
